We collect information to operate, provide, and improve the Little Talk application. The types of information we collect depend on how you use the app.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Account Information
    • Such as username and email address used to create and manage your account. Your email address is stored securely in our database and is visible only to the account owner within the app.

  • Sign in with Apple Information
    • When you sign in using Apple ID, we receive a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address, in accordance with Apple’s policies.

  • User-Generated Content
    • Content that you create or share through the app, including public posts, private posts, posts visible only to friends, and comments, or any other content you publish or share through our platform.

  • Communications
    • Information you provide when contacting us for support, feedback, or reporting issues.

  • Biographical Information
    • We may ask you to provide additional personal information that will be visible to other users within our Products. This may include, but is not limited to, topics that interest you (“Interests”), a profile picture, a short biography, and featured URLs or links displayed on your profile.

      At this time, the application stores and displays only the currently selected profile picture. The application does not provide a feature to remove a profile picture, but users may replace their profile picture by uploading a new one.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We may collect certain technical information automatically when you use Little Talk. This may include device type, operating system, app version, crash data, and usage analytics.

Some analytics data is processed by third-party service providers (such as Firebase Analytics) to help us understand app performance and user engagement. These providers may use IP addresses as part of their service operations. However, Little Talk does not directly store or access users’ IP addresses.

1.3 Information Visibility and Access Control

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, a “Friend” refers to another user whom you have mutually added or accepted within the Little Talk app. Only users who have an established friend relationship can view content marked as friends-only.

  • Public posts are visible to other users of the app.
  • Private posts are visible only to the content owner.
  • Friends-only posts are visible only to users you have added as friends.

1.4 Information We Do Not Collect

To protect user privacy, Little Talk does not collect:

  • Payment or credit card information
  • Precise location data
  • Government-issued identification documents
  • Biometric data

1.5 No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking

We do not use your personal information for advertising purposes, and we do not engage in cross-app or cross-service tracking for targeted advertising.

1.6 Information We Get When You Use Our Products

When you use Little Talk, we may collect information about how you interact with our Products. This includes:

  • Content you create, post, or interact with
  • Comments, reactions, and engagement activity
  • Search activity and discovery behavior

    • To enable core features of the app, such as creating posts, viewing content, managing visibility settings (public, private, friends-only), and interacting with other users.

    • To detect, prevent, and respond to inappropriate behavior, reported content, or violations of our community guidelines.

  • Analytics and Performance Improvement
    • To analyze usage patterns, understand how features are used, and improve app performance, stability, and user experience.

  • Crash Detection and Troubleshooting
    • To identify, diagnose, and fix technical issues, crashes, and errors.

  • User Support and Communication
    • To respond to user inquiries, provide support, and communicate important information related to app usage.

We do not use your personal information for advertising, marketing campaigns, or commercial profiling.

3. Disclosure / Sharing of Information

We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers
    • We use analytics and crash reporting tools solely to monitor app performance and diagnose technical issues. The data collected through these tools is limited to technical and contextual information, such as event identifiers, post identifiers, error logs, and app usage context. We do not send personal information such as usernames, email addresses, or account-identifiable data to analytics or crash reporting services.

  • Legal and Regulatory Requirements

  • Protection of Rights and Safety
    • We may disclose information when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or the Little Talk application.

We do not share personal information for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes.

4. Data Management, Retention, and Account Deletion

Account Suspension and Deletion

Users may request account deletion directly within the Little Talk application by navigating to:

Security → Deactivate account

Upon submitting a suspension request, the user account will be placed in a suspended state and scheduled for permanent deletion after fifteen (15) days.

During the suspension period:

  • The user account and associated personal data will be retained temporarily
  • The account will not be permanently deleted unless the suspension period has fully elapsed
  • If the user logs into the application within the fifteen (15) day period, the suspension request will be automatically canceled and the account deletion process will be terminated

If no login activity occurs within the fifteen (15) day period, the account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems. Such deletion is irreversible and the account cannot be restored thereafter.

Little Talk reserves the right to retain certain information where required by applicable law, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or enforcement of our policies.

Data Retention After Deletion

Certain technical, log, or backup data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion solely for legal compliance, security, or system integrity purposes. Such data is securely stored and not accessible to other users.

5. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data, subject to applicable laws and regulations:

  • Right of Access
    • Users have the right to request access to the personal data that Little Talk collects and processes about them.

  • Right to Rectification
    • Users have the right to request correction or update of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal data.

  • Right to Erasure
    • Users have the right to request deletion of their personal data, subject to legal obligations and retention requirements. Account deletion can be initiated directly within the application as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Right to Restriction of Processing
    • Users may request limitation of the processing of their personal data in certain circumstances as permitted by law.

  • Right to Object
    • Users may object to the processing of their personal data where such processing is based on legitimate interests, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent
    • Where processing of personal data is based on user consent, users may withdraw such consent at any time by adjusting their account settings, discontinuing use of the application, or deleting their account. Withdrawal of consent may affect the availability of certain features.

Little Talk will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
